Amoruso A full time real estate broker since 1989, Jay lives in Old Wethersfield with his wife, Jane, and their children. Jay and his family are active in the community and enjoy restoring historic homes, sailing, gardening and most anything outdoors. Jay is an active member of both the Connecticut and National Association of Realtors. His participation in the Profession Standards Committee for over twelve years has kept him at the forefront of ethics and arbitration matters. Often acting as a hearing officer to assist in settling disputes and violations at the local and state level. He has achieved membership in the Certified Residential Specialist council after completing several classes and performing the tasks of selling tens of millions of dollars in residential real estate. He is also in the process of achieving a similar status in the Certified Commercial Investment Member association. These association’s require very demanding criteria for achievement. Jay believes the best way to stay at the top of his profession is to continually learn and set goals for himself. This strict work ethic has placed Jay in the top twenty broker’s at Re/Max New England and the top one percent worldwide. His passion for real estate is contagious, spend time with him and that passion and knowledge will help you achieve your goals in real estate. Kathy Menta Kathy has been a Newington resident her entire life and lives in town with her husband, Mike, and their two girls. Kathy is very involved with the schools in town and also teaches a CCD class. Kathy enjoys antiquing, gardening and traveling with her family. Kathy has been our transaction manager for more than twelve years. She runs our computerized buyer searches, schedules appointments, designs all marketing materials, schedules inspections, mortgage financing and related due diligence work.
